Report warns thousands of historic sites on USFS lands in danger
A report (.pdf) issued Thursday by the National Trust for Historic Preservation said that there are at least 325,000 sites of significant historic value on national forest lands across the nation that are at risk because the U.S. Forest Service doesn't have the money to protect them.
